My baby brother got married this weekend in a darling, little round Catholic church. He and his beautiful wife are off on their honeymoon after hosting an incredible weekend. The pictures were so much fun. The wedding party rode around in 2 limos - going onto the infield of the Cardinal's stadium for some images, running down Washington Street, stopping to watch the Preakness at a bar, getting gelato with the children. It was such a perfect day and a perfect experience.

I don't have any images from the wedding yet so I wanted to share some of my favorites from their engagement session that Mom did in St. Louis.

More Miracles

Lulu and her brother were both adopted by their parents from Russia at around 18 months. We waited to do this session until Nicholas was more filled out because when he arrived, at 1 1/2 years, he was only 15 pounds. Now, he's a strapping 3 year old boy, and as you can see, he loves his big sister.

I asked their mom, Megan, if I could share the family's story here. She said she would be glad to and hopes that it encourages more families who may be thinking about adoption. I have to tell you, these are wonderful children

This is what Megan told me after the session, "Our pictures are fabulous.  You are very talented and I feel so blessed to have these photos of the kids.  Lately I have noticed I think about the pictures when I get upset with the kids.  This time with them won't last forever."
