When the family snuggles and keeps warm? This session was right after one of our ice storms this December. I love how bright and fun these images are. Bright and fun describes Corey and Keith and their family. Don't you just love baby Lola, the new puppy? She's so sweet.
We came in out of the cold for a cuddle on the couch. Everybody got nice and toasty.
Here is our family card this year. It's been a wonderful year. The kids are almost 3, almost 6 and 8 and we are expecting another in February. They are at such fun ages and I've really enjoyed their humor and interest in life. The idea for this card came to me while we were flying to New York to shop for frames and gifts for the studio. While we were there, Micala and I picked out our holiday colors for the studio trees and I found these beautiful ornaments. One of things I find most rewarding is the fulfillment of an idea to perfection. This card is exactly what I saw in my head, only better, because the children were so happy to play along.

On Wednesday, December 5, Dog Days of December will be happening at the studio. We'll be photographing some sweet Fancy Dogs. In lieu of a session fee, we are encouraging donations to Wayside Waifs.
Sana adopted a beautiful Australian shepherd named Rojo this summer from Wayside Waifs and my children love him. He lets them lead him around and loves to lay his head in your lap.
