Check out these images of our recent session with Brooke and Michelle from Bella B's Boutique. Photographing them for Bella B's July magazine ads was a lot of fun. As you can see, they have a lot of cute new items in the boutique, and the clothes look really good on. We are already have some great ideas for our collaboration for the fall.
Every year, for probably the last 10 years, we have worked with the Blue Valley North Booster Club on posters for Project Graduation. We photograph every student somewhere around the school and make a poster of each student. These are displayed at Project Graduation. As usual, it rained on the day we were scheduled, but, luckily, we got all of our shots in before it poured.

But that wasn't enough. Our thinker grabbed a guitar and did a little serenading. Like I said, guitars are fun!
Go check out our new display at Oak Park Mall. We are right outside of Nordstrom's, one of my favorite places to shop. 
For the first year ever, we had our very own booth at the Junior League Holiday Mart. We got to see so many great people that we know and we met quite a few new friends as well. We gave every antisdel.s couture special edition holiday t-shirts to those of you who have had your pictures done at antisdel.s.
The booth came together so nicely, due, in great part, to my brother, Sari, and his wife, Micala. They had so many great ideas and designed the booth beautifully. The crowd favorites were the pictures of Brielle in the pink dress, the kissing couple in blue, the zebra dancers, and the maternity portrait with muscle man Mike. Everybody also commented on the pink, green and blue chandeliers as well as the soft zebra rug.
We showcased some beautiful new ideas and products, too. Exclusive antisdel.s designed Christmas cards decorated the tree. Our new porcelain line of custom frames graced the wall portraits. Several new lines of gift size frames held smaller prints, and the bright colors and prints in the portraits highlighted antisdel.s fun look.

The fashion show put on by Birdie's on 18th street was a scintillating array of clothing designs. The looks ran the gamut of bright, full body lace stockings with plastic fruit hats to military, end-of-the-world, strapped up old men. Jovana's line was a bright, splashy, fun, young, well-executed piece of the puzzle. Fifteen other local designers were accepted to the show. Here are some of the images we shot at the show.

We have a very exciting week ahead of us starting with the Princess Party (every little princess is invited) at Emerson Greene featuring a gallery of our children's portraits from the Little Model sessions. The dates of the party are June 15 and 16. Sari and Micala have brought in such darling items for the event. I know every little princess will love them. Chandeliers, soft rugs, beautiful bedroom pieces, handmade skirts and purses (for the grown-ups) and my favorite - the best twirling skirts in the world.
When Kessa was 2, she would cry if she couldn't wear a "twirly" dress. Eager to indulge that sweet whim, I coerced my grandmothers into making lots of full, twirly dresses. These amazing new pettiskirts, carried at Emerson Greene, are exactly that little 2 year old mind was envisioning. The skirts look amazing under full dresses or alone. As a matter of fact, the little girls who are modeling Jovana Mirabile's designs in Summer Wonderland this Saturday night will be wearing the pettiskirts under Jovana's creations.
So, come and have fun with us at Emerson Greene's Princess Party Friday and Saturday during the day and at Summer Wonderland on 18th street Saturday evening. We'll see you there.

No, I'm not doing any cleaning. You've got to be kidding about that. But, Sari, Micala and Meredith are doing Spring Cleaning over at Emerson Greene. Besides some awesome deals, they have the most fun aprons, dish towels and table cloths.
We did a shoot with the aprons recently, and to show them off nicely, we added some heels and 2 great pairs of legs. So, here's the mystery, who do these legs belong to? I'll give you a hint: they work at the studio and it's not me or Mom. You can email me to guess. I was trying to think of a fun prize for the first to get it right, but I guess I'm not that creative. Oh, how about, you get your name on the blog. That should be worth it - getting your name in print. You'll be famous.

Our first ever Lights.Camera.Fashion.™ Show was a smashing success. We had a great time with Sara Lebovitz, our Chicago fashion stylist, who brought together the amazing new looks from LA, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York. We had a wonderful group of 2007 and 2008 senior models. Thank you so much to everyone who helped and participated.
Our goal with the fashion show is to inspire you to be creative in your planning for your senior portrait session. As the tagline goes, “From the runway, to your closet, to the senior portrait session of your dreams.” So, go ahead, be creative, let us help you design something amazing just for you.
