march on

monday, april 27

Adali march5

well, we did it!  we marched and i am so proud we did.  while we may not have been the team that raised the most money (team kimmy  raised over $20,000), team adali smashed it's goal of $2500.  we actually raised $3370.  AMAZING!  i cannot thank everyone that donated enough.  there were many nights that i would check on our teams progress and would become overwhelmed with emotion by the generosity of both people we knew and those we had never met.  i am so thankful that we could play a part in funding research that will hopefully help many babies, just as adali was helped by those that marched before us.

the day could not have been any more beautiful (as promised).  adali, being the laid back little girl she is, took everything in stride and enjoyed every bit of the festivities.  she started out the walk full steam ahead...even offering to push baby conner the entire 3.1 miles.

and by the end, she took the more princess like approach, choosing to catch a little beauty rest while uncle sari pushed her across the finish line.

we want to thank everyone that came out and marched as part of team adali.  we may not have crossed the finish line first (it was not a race, sari), we were the best looking crew out there.

adali wanted me to pass on a little message as well...thank you to all of my angels.  it was a day i will never forget and a tradition that i look forward to continuing.  thank you, thank you, thank you!

much love,
